Join us for the 5th Annual HEGEMONY Sports Oktoberfest - a free community event bringing together local families, businesses, and community partners for an afternoon of food, drinks, live entertainment, family activities, contests, silent auction, and more.
Proceeds benefit the HEGEMONY H.O.P.E. Foundation and help HEGEMONY Sports create affordable athletic opportunities for local children through flag football, soccer, and basketball.
Food & Local Flavors
Come hungry and enjoy a lineup of food trucks and local food vendors. Food truck spaces are now full, and the 2026 lineup is listed in the FAQ below.
Beer, Wine and Cider Garden
Guests age 21 and older can enjoy selections from the Beer, Wine and Cider Garden. Valid identification will be required.
Family fun zone
Bring the children for family activities and attractions throughout the afternoon. Attractions include a rock wall, bungee trampoline jump, mechanical bull, bounce house, obstacle course, and large slides
live entertainment
Enjoy live music throughout the event. This year, we're excited to welcome Fast Times, a high-energy dance and cover band playing everything from 70s classics to today's biggest hits.

Is Oktoberfest free to attend?
Yes. Admission to the Annual HEGEMONY Sports Oktoberfest is free. Food, beverages, raffle entries, auction purchases, and certain activities or merchandise may have separate charges.
When and where is the event?
Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 3:30–8:30 PM at Eufay Wood Park on River Oaks Boulevard in Plumas Lake.
Is the event family-friendly?
Yes. Oktoberfest is a community fundraiser with food, music, local vendors, contests, and a Family Fun Zone for children. Specific attractions include:

The Silent Auction will be open from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM, with winners announced at 7:45 PM.

Will alcohol be served?
Yes. A Beer, Wine and Cider Garden will be available for guests age 21 and older. Valid identification will be required. Nonalcoholic options will also be available.
Who is performing at Oktoberfest?
This year's HEGEMONY Sports Oktoberfest entertainment is Fast Times, a high-energy dance and cover band that's been performing since 1999. They play a mix of 70s and 80s classics, rock n' roll favorites, and today's dance hits, so there's something for every generation on the dance floor. Want a preview? How do I enter a contest?
Sign up at the Ticket Booth during the event at least 15 minutes before the event start time for your chosen contest. Contestants should arrive at the stage at the posted report time.
Pretzel Eating Contest — 4:45 PM
Prize awarded to the fastest competitor.
Stein Holding Contest — 5:15 PM
Prize awarded to the competitor who holds the stein the longest.
Oktoberfest Mug Chug Challenge — 6:00 PM
The first finisher wins a prize and participants receive a souvenir mug. A nonalcoholic option will be available.
Oktoberfest Costume Contest — 6:45 PM
Prizes awarded for Best Adult, Best Child, and Best Group.
When is the Silent Auction, and do I need to be present to win?
Bid sheets are set out next to each basket throughout the afternoon and evening — just write your information and bid amount to enter. Bidding closes at 7:30 PM, and winners are announced at 7:45 PM. You don't need to be present to win — if you're the winning bidder, we'll give you a call. If we're unable to reach you, or you're no longer able to claim your item, it goes to the next highest bidder.

What does the Plumas Lake Oktoberfest support?
100% of net proceeds from Oktoberfest stay within HEGEMONY Sports and support HEGEMONY Sports youth programs, helping keep local sports affordable for families. Funds are reinvested into NFL FLAG Football, Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA Basketball, MLS GO Soccer, and mentoring programs that teach teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, goal setting, and leadership to boys and girls ages 5–15.
Proceeds from Oktoberfest contribute to Scholarships to cover registration fees, equipment, field and court costs, and league support.
How can I register to be a vendor?
Showcase your Products / Services / Kids' Activity / Information at the highly anticipated, biggest annual Oktoberfest in the Yuba / Sutter region.
Food truck spaces are full for the 2026 Oktoberfest. A limited number of cottage food and other eligible vendor spaces may still be available. Visit the vendor application for requirements, fees, and registration details.
Vendor Booth Fee: $100. Event Sponsorships start at $250 and include an Oktoberfest booth.
Vendor Application Deadline: Saturday, September 12, 2026, by 10 pm (sooner the better).
